Ashtanga For Beginners
Ashtanga For Beginners presents the practice of Ashtanga Yoga in a step by step, 8 class, one month format perfect for those just starting or those looking to restart or refresh their practice. Often times yoga classes can be intimidating, filled with names, postures and routines in a very unfamiliar environment.
Ashtanga For Beginners offers small classes to allow students to learn the practice from qualified teachers in a comfortable, easy to understand format and setting. A low student to teacher ratio allows each student to get lots of individual attention and go at a pace they are comfortable with.
Each one month course meets twice a week. Each class students will build upon their previous experience, slowly learning the postures in sequence. This practice is suitable for all levels and no previous experience is required.
Students are asked to attend all eight sessions in a row in order to slowly build their practice. There will be no credit given for missed sessions.
Students are asked to bring their own mats.
